Jake's Hospital Visit:

"Being warm, clean, cared for and fed 3 times per day provided the best Xmas/New Year he has had since childhood. He came out feeling like a new feller and drove out of the car park without having to pay! Brilliant bonus is that he's felt as randy as an old goat ever since, and he is looking forward to rodgering his lonely celibate vampire wife, come the spring time. Yippee, life in the old dog yet!!!"

Jakey Into Hibernation

“As I’m getting older every winter gets more difficult. This winter it’s really knocked me out. I spend half of my life in bed with two little hot water bottles with the radio on. All through the day I’m going to sleep, waking up, going to sleep and waking up. It’s not much of a life just now but in spring when the weather warms up I’ll feel better.”

“I’m probably suffering from S.A.D, that’s Seasonal Affective Disorder, in case you didn’t know that. In the spring when the weather brightens up I shall be running and active again, I shall start to live but right now I’m in hibernation."

"These two lasses (Michelle - Director and Rebecca - Assistant) have cheered me up but when they go I’ll be back to bed in hibernation. Isn’t it amazing what a couple of women can do to an old boy!

ha, ha, ha !”
